Countesthorpe Athletic FC is an FA Charter Standard club run and maintained by local volunteers, with the sole aim of providing youngsters between the ages of 5 and 17 with the opportunity to learn and improve their football skills in a friendly, organised environment. We are already one of the largest junior clubs in the county with around 200 registered players (mainly from the village) across the age range, including an U15 girls section.

The club consists of the following sections:
Countesthorpe Athletic FC (Boys aged 5 to 17 years of age)
Countesthorpe Athletic 03 (to allow age groups to have more than one team)
Countesthorpe Athletic Girls (Girls up to 15 years of age)
The past few years have seen a steady improvement in the quality of our teams with a variety of cup final wins and appearances, league titles and promotions. A friendly club, with the emphasis on enjoyment with a competitive edge.
Playing Locations
Due to the size of the club, we are split over two sites in the village. Girls games and all 7 a-side mini soccer takes place at our site on the Willoughby Road Recreation Ground.
All 11 a-side boys football takes place at Countesthorpe College.
